Who we are
This website, officialadikailash.com, is operated by OFC aadi (“we”, “us”), a privately owned travel booking service based in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. Contact: officialadikailash@gmail.com, +91 91190 31535.
This is not a government website and we are not affiliated with any government department, board, or agency.
What we collect
- Enquiry form: full name, phone/WhatsApp number, email (optional), the trip you’re interested in, group size, preferred dates, and anything you write in the message box.
- Booking & permits: once you confirm a trip, we collect the documents required for the Inner Line Permit and for the local operator, which may include a government photo ID (Aadhaar, voter ID, or passport), passport-size photographs, a medical fitness certificate, emergency contact details, and age/health information relevant to high-altitude travel.
- Payments: we record the amount, date, and method of payment. We do not store card or bank details; payments are made by UPI or bank transfer and are processed by your bank or UPI app directly.
- Chat widget: questions you type into the “Yatra assistant” on this site. The assistant is automated and rule-based — it answers only from information already published on this site and your messages are not sent to an AI service, though the first part of each question may be recorded in our website analytics. Do not enter ID numbers or medical information in the chat.
- Automatic data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and referral source, collected through server logs and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Contentsquare).
- WhatsApp and calls: if you contact us on WhatsApp or by phone, we keep the conversation history and your number.
How we use it
- To send you a quote and answer your questions.
- To arrange and confirm your booking with the local operator.
- To prepare and submit your Inner Line Permit application to the Pithoragarh District Administration.
- To contact you about your trip (pickup time, weather changes, road closures).
- To improve this website.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
- Local operators in Dharchula, Nabi and Gunji who fulfil your trip — they receive your name, contact number, ID copy, medical certificate, and trip details.
- Government authorities — the SDM office / District Administration at Dharchula and security forces at check posts, for the Inner Line Permit and border-area verification. This is a legal requirement for entering the Vyas Valley.
- Service providers that run this website — hosting (Netlify), email delivery (Resend), WhatsApp (Meta), and analytics (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Contentsquare).
- Law enforcement when required by Indian law.
How long we keep it
Enquiry data: up to 12 months if you do not book. Booking, ID and permit documents: 3 years after your trip, for legal and accounting purposes, after which they are deleted. You may ask us to delete your data earlier (see Your rights).
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to: tell you what data we hold about you, correct it, delete it (unless we must keep it by law), or withdraw consent. Email officialadikailash@gmail.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We respond within 15 days.
Cookies
We use only essential cookies needed for the site to work, and analytics cookies from Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity and Contentsquare. You can block cookies in your browser settings.
Children
We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. Bookings for minors must be made by a parent or guardian, who provides the minor’s details.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but no online service is completely secure. Please do not send ID documents through the chat widget; use WhatsApp or email.
